Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences Delhi

Funded by Government of National Territory of Delhi, Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences is named after a great mathematician of 12th Century. The college was established in October, 1995. The main objective of the institution is to train students in various self oriented professional courses like Computer Science, Electronics, Instrumentation and Food Technology.

Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences is housed in a spacious new building which is spread over ten acres at Sector 2, Dwarka, New Delhi.

Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences - BCAS Delhi has twelve departments among which ten departments have 3 laboratories each. Besides, there is a Conference Room, an Audio Visual Hall, Library spanning three separate floors, an open Air Theatre and indoor and outdoor sports facility, classroom lectures. The course syllabus also includes seminars, industrial tour, project training, etc. The project training helps in understanding the working culture in the industry whereas the seminars provide first hand information and an opportunity to interact.

Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences - BCAS Delhi offers various courses such as BSc (Honours) and short term courses. Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences main aim of short term add- on courses is to impart skills which the students require while seeking jobs and to sharpen their knowledge. To run these skills oriented courses the college has not only a good infrastructure but also has talented faculty. Besides this, the college also invites resource persons from Industry, Hospitals & Research Institutes so that the students get the maximum benefit.

Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences - BCAS Delhi, another significant facet of the College activities is its Training and Placement Cell. The Placement cell makes certain that all pass-outs are properly placed in the companies. In order to provide in-hand training and technical expertise to the students, the College interacts with various Government and Industrial setups of repute. Also, as part of the course program, the students have to undergo training for two months in different organizations.
